'Aliens in America' Star Does 'Nip/Tuck' Work
Adhir Kalyan joins FX show

FX's "Nip/Tuck" will welcome a new doctor into the operating room -- at least temporarily -- when it returns.

Adhir Kalyan, one of the stars of The CW's "Aliens in America", has joined the show in a recurring part. He's one of several actors who have signed on to guest arcs in veterans cable series: Nia Vardalos will appear on TBS' "My Boys" this summer, and Gabriel Mann ("The Bourne Supremacy") will guest on AMC's "Mad Men," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kalyan will play a young doctor on "Nip/Tuck" who joins McNamara/Troy to help out Christian (Julian McMahon) in the wake of Sean's (Dylan Walsh) stabbing in the season finale. Emphasis on "young" -- his character, Raj, is a Doogie Howser-esque 16 years old.

Kalyan plays exchange student Raja on "Aliens in America," which has won critical praise but few viewers this season. "Nip/Tuck" has begun production on its sixth season, but a return date hasn't been determined.

I'm trying to get his autograph since 2004, have written about 7 or 8 letters since then and now FINALLY succeeded!!! I'm so excited atm... Need to calm down but not yet LOL
He signed both photos and even personalized one of them *THUD*THUD*THUD* I'll go straight to town and buy a nice frame. This has to be celebrated. Crazy me ^^ Sorry but I'm just so happy! Unbelievably happy! Could hug everybody around me - hmm... Actually there's nobody around me but who cares lol I'm gonna hug my dog ^^

If you're reading this, Dylan: THANK YOU SO MUCH! You just made my day!

I'll scan the photos later as my scanner isn't plugged in and I can't do it atm. So here's a picture I took with my camera a few minutes ago.

Stepfather Claiming Lives and a Release Date
ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned Screen Gems will release its remake of The Stepfather on October 16, 2009. It faces no competition at this time...well, unless you count Lionsgate's Saw VI, which you can count on.

Starring Penn Badley and Sela Ward, and directed by Nelson McCormick, Nip/Tuck's Dylan Walsh plays Jerry Blake, very much a "family values" man, who mysteriously comes into the lives of single mothers with children and becomes the dream man they always wanted. When he woos Susan Harding and eventually moves in with her family, her teenage son Michael begins to suspect that Jerry is not quite the dream man he pretends to be. Along with his girlfriend Kelly and Susan's friends they slowly start to piece together the mystery of the man who is set to become their stepfather, but they may be too late in getting to the truth.

Gallery update
SORRY for not having updated the site in 2 weeks but I've been quite busy plus one of my rabbits died due to a severe illness. We had to put him down at the age of only 7 months. He was one of my favorites and as you can imagine I wasn't in the mood of capturing movies etc. Since there haven't been any news on Dylan as well I couldn't even copy and paste those. So sorry for that and Paul - I'll never forget you! Hope you're well and don't have to experience any more pain wherever you may be.

But back to today's update. I've made 186 caps of the 1989's movie loverboy

The Stepfather cast interview
Another set visit another interview(s). It's all pretty long but for those who'd only like to read about Dylan rather than the movie I have marked the passages resp. his name in green color.

When I first strolled up to the Sony Pictures lot on Overland Ave. in Culver City, CA, I had to take in the sheer immensity of it. This was my first set visit and it was only my second time doing an in-person interview, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I knew it wouldn't be like that stupid Coke commercial you see before the trailers in the theater, with every street of the lot filming a vastly different movie. Walking through the lot on my way to Stage 23, for my set visit to The Stepfather, all I really saw were a few people with headsets on driving golf carts. When I got to Stage 23, everything I was told about these set visits happened in reverse.

I was told that you get introduced to everyone, the publicists and other journalists from other sites, and then they show you around the set for a little while and you watch them film a scene. Then they bring you in a room and start to usher in the talent, one by one, for a big roundtable interview for each interviewee. When I got there, I met everybody and maybe 5 minutes later we were all met by producer Mark Morgan and after everyone introduced themselves to him, the digital recorders were out and the red lights were on. Here's what he had to say about The Stepfather.
